Duties

• Deliver professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas to ensure client safety.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements.
• Stay current with industry trends such as nail design, color theory, and new techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments.
• Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, or body waxing to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Manage retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and beauty accessories with confidence using retail math skills.
• Communicate effectively with clients to build lasting relationships and ensure a positive salon experience.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care.
• Proven experience in providing comprehensive nail services with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining a safe environment.
• Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair threading, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs.
• Ability to perform retail sales confidently while upselling additional services or products.
