Key Responsibilities: Child Supervision & Care

• Ensure children’s safety at all times while providing attentive, nurturing care.
• Assist with meals, snacks, dressing, hygiene, and diapering/potty training.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, orderly environment.

Activities & Engagement

• Plan and supervise structured educational activities, imaginative play, and outdoor time.
• Create a warm, fun, and enriching environment that promotes developmental growth.
• Encourage participation, independence, and positive social interactions.

Communication

• Build professional, respectful relationships with families.
• Provide updates on daily activities, milestones, and concerns.
• Report any emotional, behavioral, or developmental observations that may need attention.

Safety & Professionalism

• Follow all safety standards and emergency procedures.
• Uphold the network’s high integrity, reliability, and professionalism.

Required

• Must have a US Drivers License & be a citizen
• CPR & First Aid Certification (mandatory within our network).
• Ability to pass federal background checks and screening software checks.
• Minimum 1 year of professional childcare experience.
• Excellent communication, patience, and problem‑solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift children, sit/kneel on the floor, and engage in active play.

Compensation

San Diego caregiver market rates range $20-$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Your exact rate will be based on experience, certifications, and family needs.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
