Nanny / Caregiver

We are seeking a nurturing, proactive, and experienced Newborn Nanny to provide comprehensive care for our infant and manage daily household operations. The ideal candidate is someone who deeply understands newborn development, maintains a high standard of cleanliness, and can seamlessly integrate into our family’s daily rhythm.

Core Responsibilities

Newborn Care & Development

Daily Care: Manage all aspects of infant care, including feeding, diapering, dressing, and bathing.

Bottle Management: Diligently wash, sanitize, and prepare bottles and pump parts.

Developmental Activities: Engage the baby in age-appropriate "play" to support milestones (e.g., tummy time, sensory play, reading, and singing).

Routine Management: Maintain a consistent nap and feeding schedule, documenting daily logs (sleep, feedings, diapers) for the parents.

Household Management & Maintenance

Laundry: Handle the baby’s laundry (using infant-safe detergents) as well as light family laundry. This includes washing, folding, and putting away clothes and linens.

Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping to maintain a tidy home environment. This includes loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping down kitchen counters, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and keeping the nursery and common areas organized.

Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals for the family and assist with basic food prep or grocery organization as needed.

Errands: Occasionally assist with light household errands or stocking nursery supplies.

Schedule & Requirements

Hours: Monday through Friday (Exact hours to be discussed.

Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.

Experience: Proven experience with newborns (0–6 months) is required.

Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infant/Child) preferred but not mandatory.

Health: Up-to-date vaccinations (e.g., TDAP, Flu) are preferred to ensure the safety of the newborn.
