Role Description

This full-time, on-site Postpartum Doula role is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Postpartum Doula, your day-to-day tasks will include providing support to new parents and their babies, including but not limited to: breastfeeding support, baby care education, sleep training, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. You will work closely with families to tailor your services to their individual needs and provide expert guidance and care during this transformative time. At this time, having availability to work 40 + hours a week is preferred. Our day shifts are 5-6 hours long, and night-time shifts are 8 hours long. We also have live-in positions available.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years professional experience with infants
• Positive attitude, patience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to supporting new parents
• Able to work flexible hours and adapt to the changing needs of families
• Must be able to pass a background check
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Have or obtain a business entity ( DBA, LLC, etc)
• Willing to take a doula training certification through a leading certification organization. ( Cornerstone, CAPPA, ProDoula, CBI, or Dona)
• Reliable vehicle/ willingness to travel up to an hour
• Fully vaccinated, including Covid
• Twins experience a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
