Nanny / Caretaker — Williamsburg, Brooklyn

About the Role

We're a family of five in Williamsburg looking for a reliable, warm, and engaged nanny to care for our three kids on a part-time basis (~33 hours/week). The role includes afternoon and evening hours during the week, one late weeknight (Thursday), and a weekend shift.

The ideal candidate is experienced with toddlers and young children, comfortable managing all three kids solo. You'll handle the after-school and evening routine — pickups, snacks, outdoor play, dinner prep, and bedtime for the younger two on late nights.

Responsibilities

• Pickup from school/daycare (as applicable) and supervise all three children
• Prepare snacks and simple meals; clean up after
• Engage kids in age-appropriate activities — arts and crafts, park time, reading, imaginative play
• Manage the evening routine on late nights: dinner, baths, and bedtime for the 2- and 4-year-old
• Light tidying of kids' spaces, dishes, and laundry related to the children

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional childcare experience, ideally with multiple children and mixed age groups (toddler through early elementary)
• CPR and First Aid certified is a plus
• Comfortable with the full evening routine including bedtime
• Reliable and punctual — the schedule includes late nights and weekends
• Based in or near Brooklyn with a reasonable commute to Williamsburg
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Strong references from previous families

Nice to Have

• Experience with a 2-year-old in the thick of toddlerhood
• Comfort cooking kid-friendly meals (not just reheating)
• Bilingual (any language welcome)
• Willing to occasionally flex Saturday to Sunday when needed

Compensation

• $32/hour
• Paid time off and sick days (details discussed at offer stage)
• Guaranteed hours

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY Children: Three — girl (6), boy (4), boy (2)

Schedule
Monday - Wednesday and Friday 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Thursday 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Flexible; sometimes Sunday instead)

Total: ~33.5 hours/week

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
