Nanny / Family Assistant

A private household on the North End of Palm Beach Island is seeking an experienced, polished, and dependable Family Assistant / Nanny to help care for three school-age children, ages ranging from 6 to 12 years old.

The family is looking for someone who can confidently manage busy afternoon and evening routines while creating a positive, structured, and supportive environment for the children. This role is ideal for a candidate who is organized, proactive, safety-conscious, and comfortable balancing childcare, transportation, scheduling, and household support.

Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome, though fluency is not required.

Responsibilities Include:

• School pick-ups and after-school supervision
• Driving children to activities, appointments, and sports
• Assisting with homework and maintaining routines
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
• Helping keep the children organized and on schedule
• Maintaining a calm, engaging, and structured environment
• Providing clear communication and updates to parents

Driver Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable and insured personal vehicle
• Comfortable driving children regularly

Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Approximately 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Additional evening flexibility may occasionally be needed during season.

Some Saturday coverage will also be required based on the family’s schedule and may include either daytime or evening hours.

Compensation:
Approximately $35 per hour depending on experience, background, and overall fit.

• Strong judgment and excellent organizational skills
• Positive attitude with a warm but structured approach
• Previous nanny or private household experience preferred

Pay: $35.00 per hour
