Nanny/Household Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny/Household Manager to provide attentive childcare and manage household tasks for a busy family. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organized, and capable of creating a safe, engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers. This role offers an opportunity to support a family's daily routines while ensuring the well-being and development of their children. The position requires a compassionate individual with strong childcare skills and household management experience.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Compensation: $28 to $32 per hour, on the books, plus standard PTO, Sick Leave & Holiday Pay

Guaranteed 25 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality childcare for school aged child ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to child's dietary needs and preferences
• Assist with daily routines such as school pick-ups, activities, transportation
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and developmental exercises
• Manage household tasks including light cleaning, laundry, organizing supplies, and maintaining a tidy environment
• Support with errands such as grocery shopping or household supplies procurement
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor medical needs with professionalism
• Coordinate schedules for appointments, extracurricular activities, and playdates
• Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere that promotes growth, independence, and curiosity

Qualifications

• Proven experience in childcare roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare work, or teaching young children
• Knowledge of school aged child development principles
• First aid certification is preferred; ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
• Strong skills in meal preparation and household management tasks such as cleaning and organizing
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
• Prior experience in caregiving roles involving infants or young children is highly desirable

Requirements:

• Comfortable with Pets
• Authorized to work in US
• Comfortable with a background check
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle for child transportation
• CPR & First Aid Certified
• Up-to-date on all vaccinations
