Nanny/Household Manager

Duties

• Provide attentive and loving care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and fun
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized household environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and tidying tasks
• Assist with daily routines such as diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap schedules for young children
• Support children's educational activities by engaging in teaching moments and developmental exercises
• Manage household errands including grocery shopping, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with service providers
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle emergency situations with confidence and calmness
• Work with individuals with disabilities or special needs to ensure inclusive care tailored to specific requirements

Skills

• Proven experience in nannying or childcare, especially with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and reliability
• Ability to perform first aid confidently and respond effectively in emergency situations
• Skilled in meal preparation with an emphasis on healthy eating habits for children
• Experience working with children who have special needs or disabilities is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills to manage household tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with the family
• Comfortable performing light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy living environment
• Prior daycare or babysitting experience is highly valued
