Narrow Web Flexo Press Technician

A night on press

At 4:30pm you arrive, review specs, and prep your servo-driven narrow web Flexographic Digital Hybrid Press. You load substrate, mount plates, set print impression, and dial in the anilox, inks, and die station. As the shift moves into full swing, you fine-tune ink laydown, balance speed, and manage drying temperatures. When a defect appears, you troubleshoot fast to keep quality high and waste low. Before the sun rises, you complete routine maintenance—oiling, cleaning, and minor repairs—so the next run starts strong.

What you’ll run and produce

• Operate a narrow web Flexo/Digital Hybrid press to create top-tier prime labels
• Perform traditional flexographic printing and die-cutting to convert labels to spec
• Verify substrates, inks, and tooling meet job requirements
• Adjust ink distribution, line speed, and drying chamber temperature for optimal results
• Troubleshoot print issues quickly to minimize downtime and material waste
• Handle routine maintenance: oiling, cleaning, and minor mechanical fixes

Schedule & bonus

Night shift: 4:30pm–6:00am. $1,500 hiring bonus (half paid upon hire, second half paid after 90 days).

Skills you bring

• Proven experience running a servo-driven narrow web press: Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or similar (experience is a must)
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset focused on quality and efficiency
• Comfort with physical work: standing, lifting, and operating press-side
• Clear communicator and strong team player
