As a National Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for profitable growth and retention of strategic national fleet customers through consultative selling, operational excellence, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. This role serves as the primary customer interface at the field level, aligning Goodyear’s Commercial products and services with fleet business needs while delivering unit volume, revenue, and margin objectives. You will drive category‑level planning, best‑practice implementation, and portfolio growth, while ensuring strong two‑way communication with internal business owners and field supply points across the region. Success in this role requires strategic account leadership, resilience, and the ability to navigate complex fleet operations environments.
What You’ll Do
Grow and manage strategic national fleet accounts profitably by aligning Goodyear Commercial products and services with customer operational and cost objectives.
Serve as the primary field‑level customer interface, building consultative relationships across fleet corporate teams, field locations, and internal stakeholders.
Deliver unit volume, revenue, and profitability targets through strategic pricing, program execution, and market‑back portfolio development.
Prospect for and secure new national fleet business by developing and executing innovative sales strategies independently or in partnership with field sales teams.
Provide end‑to‑end account support, including dashboards, reporting, operational assessments, and execution of customer cost‑reduction initiatives.
Lead account execution by coordinating contract compliance, training programs, and best‑practice implementation with dealers, category teams, and National Fleet Representatives.
What We’re Looking For
At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a bachelor’s degree; or in lieu of degree, at least 10 years B2B sales experience.
Experience prospecting for growth opportunities by developing and executing innovative sales strategies
Previous experience in operations & manufacturing driven environment.
What Will Set You Apart
5+ years of commercial industry sales experience.
Previous business-to-business sales experience to the executive level.
Highly self-motivated to relentlessly pursue new business; Resilient and able to rebound from setbacks
Proactive in reaching out to new customers, can establish relationships quickly
Strategic thinker and creative problem solver; strong negotiations skills
Strong communicator with deep knowledge of business and industry drivers
Able to travel across the full region geography
