Job Description Position: National Head – Business Development (Pigments)

Industry: Pigments / Chemicals / Manufacturing

Location: Plant-based / PAN India

Experience: 10–20 Years

Role Overview:

The National Head – Business Development will be responsible for leading PAN-India sales, market expansion, and strategic growth of pigment products, working closely with the manufacturing plant, R&D, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead national business development and sales strategy for pigment products
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across India
  • Manage key customers, OEMs, exporters, and distribution networks
  • Develop and expand dealer/distributor channels
  • Coordinate with plant operations, production planning, R&D, and quality teams
  • Identify new markets, applications, and product opportunities
  • Oversee pricing strategy, contracts, and negotiations
  • Build, mentor, and manage regional sales teams
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and key client meetings

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of inorganic pigments
  • Strategic sales leadership and negotiation skills
  • Experience working closely with manufacturing plants
  • Excellent communication and team-management abilities
  • High level of business acumen and market insight

Qualifications:

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • MBA (Marketing / Sales) preferred
