About the role:
The person will be responsible for timely/correctly financial accounting and reporting of Telenor Pakistan & its subsidiaries in accordance with applicable standards, policies and processes along with ensuring quality and integrity of financials.

Your Typical Day will look like:

Ensure all the transactional accounting is accurately and timely processed

Drive the Company's month end financial close process to ensure timely completion along with accurate and complete results

Maintenance & Supervision of General Ledger Activities in ERP environment

Ensure Compliance to Group/Local Policies and IFRS
-
Financial & accounting Advisory in complex accounting matters and new business streams in line with IFRS and Group policies

Review and improve current processes to strengthen quality and efficiency of financial reporting

Prepare reports and presentations on financial results

Preparation of monthly and consolidated management accounts

Financial analysis of monthly performance with prior periods.

Monthly reviews of all balance sheet accounts for any discrepancies including identification of issues and follow-up with respective teams for timely closure.
What we're looking for:
Education: Masters/bachelor's in finance or ACCA/CA (completed/in-progress)
Work experience: 3+ years of relevant experience with minimum 1 year career break
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:

Strong understanding of financial reporting standards e.g. IFRS etc.

Strong skills in using Microsoft Office applications, especially MS excel & PowerPoint.

Strong analytical skills (Ability to interpret and analyze financial data)

Ability to handle large volume and complex data
