NDT TECHNICIAN / INSPECTOR

• Location: Doha, Qatar

ROLE OVERVIEW

Support inspection and quality control for rotating equipment and turbo machinery refurbishment. Perform NDT testing, verify component quality, and maintain inspection records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform NDT methods: Visual (VT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Ultrasonic (UT)
• Inspect turbine rotors, blades, casings, compressors, pumps, impellers, seals, bearings
• Detect defects: cracks, corrosion, erosion, fatigue damage
• Verify dimensions and tolerances per drawings
• Maintain NDT reports and inspection records
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• NDT Level II Certification (ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712)
• 3–5 years NDT or QC inspection experience
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, ASTM standards
• Ability to read engineering drawings

PREFERRED

• Turbine/compressor refurbishment experience
• Advanced NDT methods (PAUT, TOFD)
• Metallurgy and failure analysis knowledge

License/Certification:

• NDT Level II Certification (ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712) (Required)
