About the job:
We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications to support enterprise platforms in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. In this role, you will work closely with business analysts and product owners to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. You will be responsible for developing modern, responsive web applications, designing and integrating Web APIs, and contributing to SOA-based architectures using the latest .NET technologies. The role offers an opportunity to work in an Agile environment, collaborate with cross-functional and onsite teams, and deliver impactful solutions that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis, design, development, and technical documentation for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand and clarify requirements for User Stories and Features.
• Design and develop applications using .NET technologies in line with functional and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain Web APIs, including integrations with partner applications for Policy Management and service applications.
• Develop modern, responsive web applications using ASP.NET MVC, React JS, and Knockout JS.
• Implement new UI pages and related functionalities for service applications.
• Develop business layer and data layer components based on system needs.
• Design and maintain activity data stores to capture agent/customer activities and transaction logs for debugging and analysis.
• Perform database design and development using SQL Server.
• Support Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) development and manage code using TFS and Git.
• Participate in Sprint Planning and collaborate with Product Owners to create Features, User Stories, and Tasks.
• Work within Agile/SCRUM methodologies for development and deployment.
• Coordinate effectively with onsite team members to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of overall IT experience.
• P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance domain experience is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including:
• C#, ASP.NET MVC, WPF, Silverlight, Windows Forms
• WCF, Web API, ADO.NET
• Entity Framework, LINQ
• XML, XSL/XSLT, JSON, Reflection
• Strong experience in SQL Server database design and development.
• Experience building responsive web applications using React JS and Knockout JS.
• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience using source control tools such as TFS and Git.
• Good understanding of Agile/SCRUM practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
