About the Role

We are hiring a Field Network and Security (L1) Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies and a solid understanding of lawful interception (LI) environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Deploy: Implement lawful interception (LI) solutions across Cisco and Palo Alto infrastructures.
• Configuration: Set up and manage routers, switches, and firewalls for lawful access.
• Data Security: Manage LI mediation devices to ensure secure and compliant data delivery to Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
• Monitoring: Maintain system reliability, uptime, and compliance with LI standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal security, legal, and compliance teams to document processes and activities.
• Support: Assist with investigations, audits, and incident response when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Cisco: IOS, ASA, Firepower
• Palo Alto: NGFW, Panorama
• In-depth knowledge of traffic analysis, port mirroring, and LI standards (ETSI, CALEA).
• Proficient in tools and technologies such as Wireshark, tcpdump, VPNs, IPSec/GRE tunnels, NAT, and routing.
• Preferred Certification: CCNP Security or equivalent.
