Network Engineer

Role Description:

• Apply advanced knowledge and hands-on experience to perform complex networking tasks.
• Focus on executing technical responsibilities with a strong emphasis on enterprise networking and security.
• Generate actionable insights through data analysis to support daily network operations.
• Provide solutions within established practices while contributing to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve team and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design & Implementation : Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and resilient enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, wireless, and security solutions.
• Network Access Control: Lead and manage NAC deployments for authentication, authorization, and posture assessment
• Wireless Administration : Administer, maintain, upgrade, Wireless Controller System to ensure optimal performance.
• Firewall & Security Operations : Manage and optimize firewall solutions, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Incident & Problem Management : Lead incident response efforts during system outages, service disruptions, or security events, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal business impact.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship : Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to team members while ensuring effective handling of escalated cases and timely resolution.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Oversee network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Capacity Planning & Documentation : Conduct capacity planning, manage system configuration changes, and maintain detailed documentation of network architectures and standards.
• Technology Evaluation : Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance network efficiency, automation, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise networking and security, including datacenter networks, network automation, and virtualization (cloud networking experience is a plus).
• Certifications :
• CCNP Routing & Switching/Enterprise (required)
• CCIE (preferred)
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• NAC Solution (authentication, authorization, posture)
• Wireless Controllers (enterprise wireless deployments)
• Firewalls (security and access control)
• Advanced routing and switching (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VXLAN, QoS, TACACS+, GRE, IPSec, MPLS).
• Strong knowledge of OSI layers, TCP/UDP/IP protocols, and ITIL frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Additional relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF, PMP) are a plus.
