Network Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a mid-level Network Engineer / specialist with strong hands-on experience in Cisco routing and switching to support the deployment and operation of our new Headquarters network, which is being built on Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) architecture. The selected resource will work closely with our internal Network Team, Service Desk and Cisco Professional Services during the deployment and post-implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design, configuration, and deployment of the HQ network built on Cisco SDA architecture.

• Work with Cisco Professional Services and internal teams during SDA rollout to ensure configuration consistency and operational readiness.

• Perform configuration and management of Cisco routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure.

• Assist in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and network optimization activities.

• Maintain up-to-date network documentation (topologies, configurations, change logs).

• Participate in knowledge transfer and contribute to building the team’s operational capability on SDA components.

• Ensure proper integration and coexistence with existing DC and branch network environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms (Catalyst 9000 series preferred).

• Good understanding of Cisco DNA Center, Fabric, Control Plane, Border Nodes, and Edge Nodes concepts (exposure to SDA projects is a plus).

• Familiar with network segmentation, policy, and identity-based access control concepts.

• Solid troubleshooting skills using Cisco tools and CLI.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and Cisco engineers.
