1. Overview

We're looking for an L2 Network Engineer to support daily operations across enterprise networks in a NOC environment. You'll work on incident resolution, network monitoring, and change implementation. The role includes working with one or more customers, handling support tickets, and ensuring network performance and stability.

2. Responsibilities

• Monitor network health and performance using standard NOC tools

• Troubleshoot L2/L3 network issues escalated from L1 support

• Support daily operations across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments

• Work on incidents, service requests, and changes within defined SLAs

• Apply standard configuration changes on routers, switches, and wireless controllers

• Perform routine checks and health audits across customer networks

• Document incidents, configurations, and network changes accurately

• Escalate unresolved or critical issues to L3 teams or vendors

• Follow change management processes for network upgrades and patching

• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for scheduled maintenance windows

• Communicate with internal teams or customer contacts as needed

• Maintain asset records and update network inventory tools

• Support disaster recovery testing and basic failover validation activities.

3. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

• 2–4 years of hands-on network operations experience

• CCNP certification or equivalent experience

• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching

• Familiarity with SD-WAN, network monitoring tools, and ticketing platforms

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a 24/7 NOC setup or rotating shift environment.

4. Skills

• Practical knowledge of routing and switching across multiple vendors.

• Awareness of ITIL processes and ticket workflows.

• Exposure to wireless networks, VOIP, and firewall technologies.

• Clear documentation and incident handling.

• Team player with the ability to manage time and tasks independently.
