Network Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime
• Configure and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
• Perform network upgrades, patch management, and system updates
• Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and support organizational needs
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for networking and security
• Plan and execute network capacity and scalability improvements
• Respond to and resolve network outages and incidents promptly
• Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and services for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for critical network systems
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: QAR16,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Cisco CCNP/ CCIE: 1 year (Required)
• Cloud Networking Environments : 1 year (Required)

• Arabic & English (Required)

License/Certification:

• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) (Required)
