Role Purpose
: The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's network infrastructure across all sites. This role ensures reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity for office locations, construction sites, and data centres while supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives.
Key Activities:

Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure across 13+ sites including headquarters, warehouses, and construction project sites

Configure and manage multi-vendor firewall environments including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki, and pfSense
-
Monitor network performance using Zabbix and other monitoring tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues

Manage ISP relationships with Mobily, STC, Zain, and ITC, including troubleshooting connectivity issues

Implement and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions for centralized device authentication and policy enforcement
-
Support network topology improvement initiatives aligned with the IT Enterprise Standards and Modernization program

Document network configurations, create topology diagrams, and maintain WLAN and switch inventories

Implement network security measures in compliance with NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network equipment procurement and support

Provide L2/L3 support for network-related incidents and service requests

Support site connectivity for construction projects including 5G SIM deployments

Participate in data centre modernization and cloud connectivity initiatives
Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering

Strong experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Meraki network equipment

Experience with SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity solutions

Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools

Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements

CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional) - Required

Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) - Preferred

Fortinet NSE certification - Preferred
