Detailed Job Description
As a Network L3 Engineer, you will handle advanced troubleshooting, routing, switching, and firewall operations across large scale networks. You will work on resolving escalations, performing RCA, supporting CAB processes, and maintaining compliance across all network domains. You will also manage and optimize network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and SD WAN environments. The position requires strong hands on expertise with Cisco technologies (DNAC, FTD, ISE, WLC), Palo Alto Firewalls, and F5 Load Balancers. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall infrastructures
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and manage recurring incidents
• Configure and support routing & switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, and SD WAN
• Manage DNS, DHCP, and day to day network operations
• Review and approve CAB changes ensuring minimal operational disruption
• Maintain network compliance, backups, and security hardening
• Support multi vendor environments and provide L3 technical escalation

Required Qualifications & Skills

• CCNP certification (mandatory)
• Strong hands on expertise with Cisco DNAC, FTD, ISE, and WLC
• Proficiency in Palo Alto Firewalls with deep configuration abilities
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers including policy configuration & management
• Solid understanding of enterprise routing, switching, and network security practices
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with multi cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible)
• Exposure to NAC, network segmentation, or zero trust models
• Experience in large scale enterprise or service provider environments
