Bit Development is a growing technology company delivering reliable IT and operational support services to global clients. We are expanding our infrastructure team and looking for a skilled Network Support Engineer who is passionate about maintaining secure, high-performing networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 network support, troubleshooting connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues.
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, VLANs, IP addressing, routing, and switching.
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls (FortiGate / pfSense) and implement security policies.
• Support VPN technologies including IPSec, SSL VPN, site-to-site, and remote access VPNs.
• Monitor network performance using tools such as SNMP, SmokePing, and FortiMonitor.
• Respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for escalations and service-related issues.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Assist with network upgrades, firmware updates, and change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies.
• Provide on-call or after-hours support when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in network support or network operations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, STP, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Fortinet, or similar networking devices.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot VPN, firewall, and routing issues.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA
• CompTIA Network+

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs150,000.00 per month
