New Build Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated New Build Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and commissioning electrical systems in new construction projects across the midlands (ideally between Nuneaton and Coventry.

The Right candidate would be expected to work with and help educate an apprentice. Previous experience in bringing up the next generation of tradespeople would be preferable.

A valid driving licence and own transport is essential for this position, as travel to various sites will be required.

Responsibilities

• Installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in new build properties according to technical specifications and safety standards
• Conducting inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulations
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues during installation phases
• Maintaining accurate documentation of work completed and materials used
• Liaising with project managers, clients, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth progress of projects
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing client queries professionally and efficiently
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems when required
• Ensuring all work adheres to health and safety regulations and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician specialising in new build projects or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures
• Valid electrical qualification(s) recognised within the industry
• Driving licence is essential for site travel between locations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients and team members
• Customer service orientation with a professional approach to client interactions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality standards
• Flexibility to adapt to different site environments and project requirements
• Experience in Working with apprentices.

Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
