Sunshine Sitters is seeking an exceptional Nanny to support one of our St. Petersburg families welcoming infant twins. We are only accepting applications from candidates with professional experience caring for multiples—twins, triplets, or newborn siblings close in age and with OVERNIGHT INFANT EXPERIENCE.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced newborn caregiver who thrives in a calm overnight environment and loves helping families during the early stages of life with multiples.

You will also be working alongside their other support staff and nannies.

Job Description:

As a Nanny with Sunshine Sitters, you’ll care for the babies throughout the night 1-2 days a week and 3-4 days, ensuring safety, comfort, restful sleep, and structured feeding. You’ll work collaboratively with the parents and another nanny while providing confident, knowledgeable overnight support.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing overnight care for two infant twins
• Handle nighttime and daytime feedings (breast milk, formula, or both)
• Soothe, settle, and change diapers throughout the night
• Support sleep shaping and encourage healthy nighttime routines
• Track feeding, sleep, and diaper changes for parent review
• Maintain a clean, organized nursery and sterilize bottles/supplies
• Follow safe sleep guidelines and uphold Sunshine Sitters’ standards of care
• Communicate clearly with parents and the Sunshine Sitters team

Required Qualifications

• Must have professional experience with multiples (twins or more)
• 2+ years of newborn or night nanny experience
• Strong understanding of newborn needs, cues, and sleep routines
• Infant CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to update)
• Excellent references
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently overnight
