What You’ll Do
Own the newsroom flow—from story idea to published content
Produce and edit compelling local news (digital + video)
Collaborate with reporters, anchors, and digital teams
Make fast editorial decisions during breaking news
Write, edit, and polish stories that people actually read
Track what’s working—and double down on it
What You Bring
Experience in a newsroom, digital media, or broadcast environment
Strong writing and editing skills (AP style is a plus)
Sharp news judgment and attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines without missing a beat
Familiarity with CMS, video editing, and social media
A passion for local news and storytelling
