Job Title: Newsletter Content & Design Specialist (Branding, Setup, Templates, Content Migration)

Start: Immediate Engagement: One-time project → potential full-time hire based on performance Note: This role can start as a project but may evolve into a long term ongoing hire.

Overview

We are launching AI to ROI, a premium Substack publication for CEOs, founders, and operators seeking practical, revenue driven AI insights. We’re looking for a Substack Specialist with strong design, technical setup, and content skills to build a polished, high conversion publication from day one.

If you excel at transforming ideas into clean, branded, high-impact newsletters this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities1. Branding & Layout

• Create a clean, modern, executive focused visual identity.
• Design banner, logo/icon, color palette, and typography aligned with the AI to business theme.

2. Complete Substack Setup

• Configure the About page, publication settings, welcome emails, and onboarding sequence.
• Handle subscriber import (if required).
• Ensure everything reflects strong clarity, structure, and brand consistency.

3. Content Migration & Organization

• Review existing LinkedIn posts, articles, and assets.
• Organize and migrate content into Substack as:
• Free posts
• Paid posts
• Resources
• Lead magnets
• Format content to be publication-ready.

4. Reusable Newsletter Templates

• Create 1–2 plug and play templates with sections such as:
• Hook
• Insight / Breakdown
• Framework
• Tools
• CTA
• Ensure templates are clean, modular, and easy for non designers to reuse.

5. Documentation & Handover

• Provide a simple step by step setup and publishing guide.
• Record a short Loom walkthrough covering templates, settings, and workflow.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience launching and designing Substack publications (portfolio required).
• Strong branding sense layout, spacing, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to repurpose content into polished newsletter formats.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of structure, storytelling, and content hierarchy.
• Self-directed, proactive, and able to propose better content or structural approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Background in B2B, AI, tech, or startup related content.
• Experience with content operations or editorial workflows.
• Knowledge of newsletter formatting, user experience, and growth fundamentals.
