Department : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Position Summary:
The NICU Nurse will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring close monitoring, safe treatment, and support for both infants and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide round-the-clock care for premature and critically ill neonates in the NICU.
• Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall health status of newborns.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutrition as prescribed by neonatologists.
• Operate and monitor incubators, ventilators, and other neonatal medical equipment.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a sterile environment in the NICU.
• Assist doctors during neonatal procedures and emergencies.
• Educate and support parents regarding baby care, feeding, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of patient conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality neonatal care.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing (with valid registration under the Nursing Council).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in NICU or pediatric care required.
• Strong knowledge of neonatal health, baby care, and emergency response.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Female candidates required

Work Conditions:

• Rotational shifts (10 hours).
• Exposure to critical medical cases requiring high emotional resilience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
