Night Janitor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain restrooms by cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Handle commercial cleaning duties in offices, hallways, and common areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Assist with custodial tasks in residential settings as required.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of residential painting or porter duties is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
