Night Nanny

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Nanny to provide overnight care and support for infants and young children. This vital role ensures that children are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for during nighttime hours, allowing parents to rest assured. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive overnight care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and comforting as needed
• Monitor children’s sleep patterns and assist in establishing consistent bedtime routines
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for young children, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to childcare supplies and areas
• Administer first aid promptly and appropriately in case of minor injuries or emergencies
• Support developmental activities such as reading stories, singing lullabies, or engaging in age-appropriate play
• Collaborate with parents to understand specific care instructions, routines, and preferences

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Strong knowledge of child safety protocols and first aid certification
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas and supplies
• Experience with meal preparation tailored for young children’s nutritional needs
• Prior nannying or babysitting experience with a focus on nighttime caregiving preferred
• Comfort working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with parents and caregivers
