Night Supervisor

Muscat, Oman

As a Night Supervisor at Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth running of all departments. You will act as the primary point of contact for guests during the overnight hours and ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, policies, and procedures.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Supervise all Front Office operations during the night shift, ensuring outstanding guest service and seamless check-in/out processes.
  • Handle late arrivals, early departures, and overnight guest requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, etc.) to address guest needs and operational issues.
  • Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and transactions.
  • Oversee the night audit process and ensure the end-of-day procedures are completed on time and accurately.
  • Monitor the lobby and public areas for cleanliness, security, and guest activity.
  • Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate action in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor night staff, fostering a culture of service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all IHG policies, health & safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Prepare nightly reports and communicate effectively with the morning management team for shift handover.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years experience in Front Office operations in a 4- or 5-star hotel, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or night shift role.
  • Strong understanding of PMS systems (preferably Opera).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic or other languages is an asset).
  • A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
