Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive NIL education programs for student-athletes, coaches, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary resource for NIL-related tools, guidance, and support across the athletics department.
  • Act as the central point of contact for student-athletes regarding licensing, brand development, and NIL opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication between student-athletes, player personnel, coaching staff, executive leadership, and external constituents to ensure clarity and alignment on NIL initiatives.
  • Manage NIL-related workflows involving student-athletes, agents, coaches, legal counsel, and internal departments.
  • Ensure strict adherence to university, state, federal, and NCAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all athlete matters.
  • Oversee NIL Go platform operations, tracking deal flow and communicating updates to relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with FSU partners on marketing agreements involving university trademarks, facilities, and licensed merchandise.
  • Serve as liaison to licensing agencies and local retailers to identify and cultivate NIL opportunities that generate incremental revenue.
  • Provide strategic support for sport-specific NIL initiatives.
  • Contribute to student-athlete recruitment and retention efforts by showcasing the value and impact of FSU’s NIL programming.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree and four years experience, or a high school diploma and experience equal to eight years.(Note: higher education may substitute at an equivalent rate.)
