Nitrogen Generation Plant Operator

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operation

* Monitor, control, and adjust the CMS nitrogen generation system to meet required purity, flow, and pressure specifications.

* Conduct regular startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures as per established SOPs.

* Maintain accurate operational logs and records.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

* Perform routine inspections of compressors, adsorption vessels, valves, filters, and instrumentation.

* Carry out preventive maintenance tasks, such as filter replacement, leak checks, and adsorption tower checks.

* Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, escalating to the utilities/maintenance team as needed.

Quality & Safety

* Ensure nitrogen purity and pressure parameters meet production requirements through regular sampling and testing.

* Follow all safety protocols for handling compressed gases and working around high-pressure systems.

* Coordinate with QA/production teams to ensure uninterrupted nitrogen supply for tire manufacturing operations.

Documentation & Reporting

* Record daily nitrogen consumption, purity trends, and system performance data.

* Prepare reports on plant performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

* Support audits and compliance checks related to utilities and gas systems.
