NOC Coordinator – Sharjah Project

Department: Construction
Reports to: Construction Director
Location: Sharjah, UAE

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced NOC Coordinator to join our Construction Department for the Sharjah Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, obtaining, and managing all necessary NOCs, permits, licenses, and gate passes from relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Director in obtaining NOCs from relevant government authorities and consultants.
  • Establish, monitor, and control all activities related to permits, gate passes, and licenses.
  • Maintain and update tracking registers for NOCs and passes; ensure timely renewals and valid documentation.
  • Prepare and submit required documents and drawings to concerned authorities.
  • Ensure all submissions are complete to avoid resubmission delays.
  • Receive, review, and distribute approved NOCs and permits to relevant departments.
  • Prepare official correspondence and online submissions to authorities.
  • Organize and coordinate with other package contractors for smooth site operations.
  • Arrange inspections with authorities and follow up for revalidation of NOCs.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all NOCs, permits, and related documents.

Other Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on NOC requirements for various clients, consultants, and service authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements for obtaining NOCs.
  • Support the implementation of the EHS Construction Management Plan (CMP) in the assigned work area.

Key Interactions

  • Coordinate with authorities such as RTA, DEWA, Etisalat, DU, Municipality, and others for approvals.
  • Liaise with site engineers, the construction team, and project managers to meet NOC requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in NOC coordination within the UAE construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local authority procedures and online submission platforms.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and document control systems.
