Node. js Developer

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer to design and develop secure RESTful APIs and handle integrations with major platforms. The ideal candidate is strong in Node.js with TypeScript, Express.js, and PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM, and has hands-on experience with session-based authentication and OAuth.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with proper validation, error handling, and documentation.
• Design scalable database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL + Drizzle ORM.
• Implement secure session-based authentication with OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft/Outlook).
• Integrate with external APIs: Google, Outlook/Microsoft, Stripe, WooCommerce, Amazon, ShipBob, ShipStation, AfterShip and ChatGPT.
• Manage webhooks, retries, rate-limiting for third-party integrations.
• Write tests (unit/integration).
• Ensure system security, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in Express.js and REST API design.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and ORMs (Drizzle ORM preferred).
• Solid understanding of session-based auth, OAuth 2.0 flows.
• Proven experience integrating with at least several of the listed third-party platforms.
• Strong knowledge of API security, scalability, and monitoring best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs180,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
