Non-Objection Certificate Engineer

Job Summary

Ensure timely acquisition of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and permits from relevant Abu Dhabi authorities required for the execution of underground cable projects. The NOC Engineer is responsible for coordinating with government entities, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with authority standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit NOC applications, drawings, and related documents to Abu Dhabi authorities.
• Liaise with government entities such as TRANSCO, ADDC, ADM, ITC, DOT, Etisalat, DU, and Civil Defense for approvals.
• Review design drawings and ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority regulations.
• Track and follow up on NOC applications to prevent project delays.
• Coordinate with consultants and site engineers for any required revisions.
• Maintain organized records of all submissions, correspondences, and approvals.
• Ensure NOCs are secured before mobilization and commencement of works.
• Support site inspections carried out by authorities when required.
• Provide regular status updates to the project management team.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental standards in all authority submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering .
• 3+ years of proven experience handling NOC processes for underground cable/utility projects in Abu Dhabi (minimum requirement).
• Solid knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority regulations (TRANSCO, ADDC, ADM, ITC, DOT, Etisalat, DU, Civil Defense).
• Completed HSE awareness training .
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office and MS Projects .
