Position Summary

The Industrial Nurse provides on-site medical care and occupational health services to employees, focusing on injury prevention, workplace safety, health promotion, and regulatory compliance. This role supports a safe and healthy work environment while minimizing workplace injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, emergency care, and follow-up treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses
• Assess, treat, and document employee health concerns in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
• Manage workers’ compensation cases, including injury reports, return-to-work plans, and coordination with providers
• Conduct health screenings (e.g., hearing, vision, respirator fit testing, drug and alcohol testing)
• Monitor employee health trends and recommend preventive measures
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Assist with OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and safety audits
• Educate employees on health, wellness, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with safety, HR, and management teams on workplace health initiatives
• Maintain medical supplies and ensure readiness for emergencies

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing qualification from an institution recognized and accredited (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Nursing for Registered Nurse, or accredited Diploma for Assistant Nurse).
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation, and workplace safety standards
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Experience

• 1–3 years of nursing experience preferred
• DHA license or DHA eligibility is preferred, but not required.
• Occupational health, emergency, or urgent care experience a plus

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
