Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Health

General Summary

Under the direction of the Medical Director of Occupational Health Services, perform a wide variety of duties both within and in support of the Occupational Health Service.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Ability to work with individuals at all educational and socioeconomic levels

• Proficient computer skills, including ability to learn new systems/software

• Working knowledge of OSHA and Occupational Health principles, preferred

Required Length/Type of Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience, preferable in an outpatient setting.

Required Education/Licensure/Certification

• Certification from national accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner

• Successful completion of continuing education as required by State of Ohio

Required Physical and Environmental Demands

• Ability to lift 20 pounds

• Must be flexible and adaptable to various environments

• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time

• Able to complete electronic charting
