Nursery Manager/Horticulturist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager / Horticulturist to lead the daily operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of plant cultivation and nursery management. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant production, managing staff, and ensuring the health and quality of our entire plant stock.

Location: 3.5 km Defense Road Lahore

Job Type: Full Time| Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all stages of plant production, including propagation (seeding/cuttings), potting, and acclimatization.

Develop and implement effective irrigation, fertilization, and pest/disease control programs.

Supervise, train, and schedule the nursery workforce to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Maintain an accurate inventory of plants, soil, pots, chemicals, and other supplies.

Ensure rigorous quality control for all plants, preparing them for sale and dispatch.

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of nursery infrastructure, including greenhouses, shade nets, and irrigation systems.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Nursery Manager, Horticulturist, or in a similar agricultural management role.

Strong practical knowledge of horticultural techniques, plant science, and pest management.

Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or a related field is highly desirable.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on work ethic.

Familiarity with local plant varieties and climate conditions is a significant advantage.

Pay: Rs 50,000.00 - Rs 60,000.00 per month
