Nurse Assistant – Dermatology

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Assistant with experience in Dermatology to support dermatologists and nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assisting with dermatologic procedures, patient education, and clinical operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Support

• Assist dermatologists and nurses during dermatologic and aesthetic procedures (e.g., biopsies, laser treatments, chemical peels, cryotherapy).
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including positioning and explaining steps to reduce anxiety.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies following infection control protocols.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as wound care, dressing changes, and post-procedure care under supervision.

Patient Care & Education

• Monitor patients’ comfort and report any concerns or reactions to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Provide patient education on skincare routines, treatment aftercare, and medication use as directed.
• Assist with patient intake, medical history documentation, and vital signs.

Administrative & Operational Duties

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Manage inventory of dermatology supplies and ensure proper storage.
• Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and coordination of follow-up appointments.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a dermatology, cosmetic, or aesthetic clinic preferred.
• Knowledge of dermatologic procedures, tools, and skincare products is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
