Nursing Incharge/Matron

Clinical and patient care

• Oversee and manage all nursing care for patients in their department or ward during a shift.
• Delegate tasks to the nursing staff, including nurses, aides, and other support staff.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes or emergencies.
• Handle patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Ensure adherence to patient care protocols and hospital procedures.
• Address and resolve patient complaints and concerns.

Staff and administrative support

• Supervise and guide nursing staff, providing training and support as needed.
• Create and evaluate staffing plans and schedules.
• Act as a liaison between the nursing staff and physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and laws.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Check on the availability of necessary supplies and medications.

Leadership and improvement

• Lead the nursing unit, inspiring staff and communicating the vision for excellence.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Contribute to policy development and implement improvements for patient care quality.
• Provide guidance, counseling, and performance feedback to staff.
• Address disciplinary issues and maintain discipline among the staff

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
