Usman Memorial Hospital is a secondary care hospital in Karachi, we are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated candidate for the post of Nursing Manager.

Qualification: BSN/MSN

Experience: 4-5 years experience.

Job Description:

• Oversee all clinical activities of nursing and paramedical staff.
• Conduct daily patient rounds to ensure quality nursing services are provided.
• Maintain and monitor medical records of admitted patients, ensuring proper nursing services.
• Ensure proper administration of medications, following standard nursing practices (4 R’s).
• Organize educational activities for the nursing staff based on needs assessments.
• Address and resolve patient issues related to nursing services.
• Create, implement, and monitor monthly duty rosters for staff.
• Evaluate the performance of nursing and paramedical staff.
• Participate in medical audits to evaluate neglected cases.
• Collaborate with consultants for input on patient care.
• Develop strategies to address deficiencies in nursing staff.
• Ensure availability and maintenance of necessary medical equipment.
• Monitor departmental inventory.
• Report to superiors during crises or unforeseen circumstances.
• Maintain interdepartmental coordination and harmony.
• Participate in disaster management efforts.
• Ensure that patients clear all financial dues before discharge.
• Address complaints from patients' attendants promptly.
• Handle other related tasks as assigned by higher management.
• Track staff compliance with I-Care protocols and monitor I-Care notes.
• Share consumption reports in a timely manner and proper format.
• Track and manage nursing indent
