Position: Nursing Superintendent

Reports To: Medical Director / Hospital Administrator
Location: Kharadi, Pune

Job Purpose:

The Nursing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all nursing and patient care services throughout the hospital. The role ensures high standards of nursing practice, patient safety, staff management, and compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nursing Administration:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing staff across all departments (ICU, OT, Wards, OPD, etc.).
• Ensure proper allocation of nurses and maintain duty rosters.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of nursing staff.
• Quality & Patient Care:
• Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care in line with hospital standards.
• Implement and monitor infection control practices and patient safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular ward rounds to assess patient satisfaction and nursing efficiency.
• Training & Development:
• Plan and organize in-service training programs for nurses.
• Identify staff training needs and ensure skill upgradation.
• Coordination & Communication:
• Act as a link between the administration, doctors, and nursing teams.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient care services.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain nursing records, reports, and audits as per hospital protocols.
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards and government regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 8–10 years of nursing experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory or administrative role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of NABH / JCI standards preferred.

Pay: ₹17,738.60 - ₹92,260.04 per month
