Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Head to lead our nursing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, in-depth clinical knowledge, and prior experience in managing nursing teams in a hospital setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Nursing Department
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital protocols
• Lead, train, guide, and evaluate nursing staff to maintain high quality of care
• Develop and implement nursing policies, SOPs, and best practices
• Monitor patient care services and address escalations promptly
• Prepare duty rosters, manage manpower, and streamline operations
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments for smooth workflow
• Conduct audits, maintain documentation, and ensure safety standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support hospital leadership in strategic planning & performance enhancement

Required Qualifications

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing / Post B.Sc Nursing (M.Sc Nursing preferred)
• Minimum 5–10 years of clinical experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/NS role
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, patient care protocols, and NABH standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-handling skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in multi-speciality hospitals
• Knowledge of infection control, quality parameters, and emergency care
• Ability to manage crisis situations with confidence and professionalism
• Proficiency in preparing reports, audits, and compliance documentation
