Job Title: Nursing Superintendent / Deputy Nursing Superintendent

Job Summary:
The Nursing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire nursing department to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards. This role involves planning, supervising, and coordinating nursing activities, staff management, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all nursing staff, ward in-charges, and supervisors across hospital units.
- Ensure implementation of nursing standards, protocols, and infection control practices.
- Plan, organize, and allocate nursing staff duties, schedules, and rotations.
- Conduct regular ward rounds to monitor patient care quality and nursing performance.
- Ensure proper training, orientation, and professional development of nursing staff.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet patient care requirements.
- Coordinate with doctors, administrators, and other departments for smooth patient care delivery.
- Oversee nursing records, reports, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain stock of medical supplies, equipment, and ensure proper usage.
- Handle patient complaints related to nursing services and ensure resolution.
- Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI/other accreditation and quality standards.
- Promote a safe, ethical, and supportive work environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in hospital committees, audits, and policy-making activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
