Nursing Tutor

Job Summary:

The Nursing Tutor at Nalam Academy is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing education through theoretical instruction and clinical training. The role includes planning lessons, evaluating student progress, and preparing future nurses to meet academic and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lectures for nursing students (GNM/B.Sc Nursing/other relevant courses).
• Supervise and guide students during clinical postings in hospitals or healthcare centers.
• Prepare and assess lesson plans, assignments, internal assessments, and practical exams.
• Provide academic and career counseling to students as needed.
• Monitor student performance and maintain records as per academic guidelines.
• Stay updated with current trends, advancements, and best practices in nursing education.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and case discussions to enhance practical learning.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory bodies such as INC (Indian Nursing Council) and State Nursing Council norms.
• Support the academy’s mission of producing skilled, ethical, and compassionate nursing professionals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Qualification: B.Sc Nursing (M.Sc Nursing preferred) from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with State Nursing Council.
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing subjects and clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Proficient in using digital tools and teaching aids (e.g., PowerPoint, online teaching platforms).
• Passion for teaching and student development.

Job Type: Full-time
