O-levels Chemistry/Biology-Township

Lahore, Pakistan

The O-Levels Chemistry & Biology Teacher will be responsible for teaching students in line with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum. The teacher must develop students’ conceptual understanding, practical skills, and exam readiness while creating a motivating and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons for Chemistry and Biology according to the Cambridge O-Level syllabus.
  • Design engaging lesson plans, lab experiments, and interactive activities that encourage curiosity and scientific thinking.
  • Conduct laboratory sessions to strengthen students’ practical skills and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Use innovative teaching strategies, multimedia tools, and real-life examples to enhance understanding.
  • Assess, grade, and provide constructive feedback on student performance.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments, practical exams, and final O-Level examinations.
  • Provide extra academic support, mentoring, and guidance where needed.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry among students.
  • Maintain discipline, order, and a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and school events as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field (B.Ed/M.Ed preferred).
  • Prior teaching experience in O-Levels/IGCSE Chemistry & Biology (2–3 years preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Sound knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum and exam preparation strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs60,000.00 per month
