O-levels Physics-Township

The O-Levels Physics Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to O-Level students (Grades 9–11) in alignment with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum. The teacher must create an engaging learning environment, foster critical thinking, and prepare students effectively for their examinations while developing their scientific curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Physics lessons according to the Cambridge O-Level syllabus.
• Develop engaging lesson plans, practical activities, and assessments to ensure student understanding of core concepts.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to strengthen theoretical learning with practical application.
• Use modern teaching strategies, multimedia, and technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly.
• Prepare students for internal assessments, mock exams, and final O-Level examinations.
• Provide extra academic support, mentoring, and exam preparation sessions when required.
• Encourage scientific inquiry, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Maintain discipline, a positive learning environment, and high academic standards in the classroom.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physics or a related field (B.Ed/M.Ed preferred).
• Prior teaching experience in O-Levels/IGCSE Physics (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment curriculum and exam requirements.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
