OAS Senior Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OAS (Oracle Analytics Server) Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level analytics and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Analytics, data modeling, dashboard development, and BI reporting, with the ability to deliver scalable and high-performance analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
• Develop and optimize data models, subject areas, and semantic layers.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
• Create and manage interactive dashboards, visualizations, and KPIs.
• Integrate OAS with multiple data sources including Oracle databases, data warehouses, and external systems.
• Optimize query performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BI/reporting issues.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business teams.
• Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Mentor junior developers and support best practices in BI development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in BI/Analytics development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or OBIEE.
• Proficiency in:
• Data modeling and BI semantic layer development
• SQL and Oracle database concepts
• Dashboard and report development
• Experience with ETL concepts and data warehousing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Analytics or OBIEE migration to OAS.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Oracle Analytics certification is an advantage.
