Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

Therapeutic Intervention:

• Implement therapeutic activities aimed at improving patients’ functional abilities and daily living skills.
• Utilize a variety of techniques, including but not limited to, arts and crafts, functional training, and cognitive-behavioral strategies.

Patient and Family Education:

• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic processes and strategies to enhance recovery and quality of life.
• Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.

Professional Development:

• Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy and mental health care through ongoing education and professional development.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy .

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Experience with a diverse patient population, including those with severe and persistent mental illness.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs60,000.00 per month
