Occupational Therapist (Male)

Location: Karwan-e-Hayat, Institute for Mental Health Care - Building # KV 27 & 28, Near KPT Hospital, Keamari, Karachi

Timings: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Karwan-e-Hayat is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Department. If you're passionate about improving lives and promoting independence for individuals with mental health conditions, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs to create effective therapy plans.
• Develop personalized treatment strategies focused on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Educate patients and caregivers on home-based exercises and techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and therapy sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest OT practices and ensure adherence to professional and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/master’s in occupational therapy or DOT
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting (psychiatric experience preferred)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
